The brand's catalog is built around a handful of original models rather than reissues. The Firestar is the flagship — a contoured, offset-leaning solidbody often outfitted with their proprietary LesLee circuit, a built-in piezo, or a kill switch. The Doublestar and its single-cutaway sibling the Singlestar combine elements of vintage American designs into Deimel's own silhouette, while the Bluestar is an offset model originally developed in collaboration with Finnish jazz guitarist Kalle Kalima. The lineup also includes a Firestar bass and the experimental SPARK, an electro-acoustic instrument with modular-synth connectivity.
Deimel instruments have been played by artists including Peaches, Of Monsters and Men, Shellac, and Blue Man Group, and the workshop is a member of European Guitar Builders e.V. The shop is known in the boutique builder community for long custom wait times and a focus on bespoke, one-off commissions rather than mass production.
Deimel has 4 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Solid Body Electric Guitars and Extended Range Guitars. Their gear is featured by 4 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Pop, and Electronic. Notable users include Lee Ranaldo, Simon Taylor-Davis, and Drangsal.
