Dommenget is a German custom guitar and pickup workshop run by luthier Boris Dommenget out of Hamburg. After a three-year apprenticeship with Hopf beginning in 1977 and a stint building instruments in Wiesbaden in the early 1980s, Dommenget eventually set up his workshop inside the Altona Rehearsal Studios. He began winding his own pickups in 1979, and the shop builds every guitar and pickup by hand.

The catalog covers solidbody electrics, semi-hollows, archtops, and acoustics, with recurring models including the EX 90 Explorer-style solidbody, the Galaxy 90, the Lizard Hybrid, and the MJ Mastercaster. Dommenget is the builder behind Matthias Jabs' signature guitars (sold through MJ Guitars) and has been the exclusive maker of Uli Jon Roth's Sky Guitars since 2010. The workshop also produces a line of patented custom pickups, often wound to the specifications of individual players.

The shop's clientele leans heavily toward hard rock and classic rock guitarists. In addition to Jabs and Roth, Dommenget instruments have been associated with Michael Schenker, Richie Sambora, Neal Schon, Stephen Stills, Ken Hensley, and Carl Carlton.
