FGN is the in-house brand of Fujigen Inc., a Japanese musical instrument manufacturer based in Matsumoto, Nagano. The parent company began as Fuji Gengakki Seizō in 1960, producing violins and classical guitars before moving into electric guitars in 1962. Fujigen became one of Japan's most prolific OEM guitar makers, building instruments for Ibanez (Hoshino Gakki), Greco (Kanda Shokai), Yamaha, Antoria, Fender Japan, Orville by Gibson, Epiphone Japan, and Gretsch at various points. The FGN brand was launched so the company could release guitars under its own name internationally.

FGN's lineup centers on traditional solidbody, semi-hollow, and hollowbody electric guitars and basses, often built around familiar bolt-on and set-neck silhouettes. Electric guitar families include the Neo Classic (TE and Single Cut), Boundary, Odyssey, Iliad, Mythic, and Flame series, with the Masterfield line covering hollow and semi-hollow models. Basses are offered under the Mighty Jazz, Mighty Power, and Neo Classic Bass names.

The brand is known for its Circle Fretting System (CFS), a proprietary fretting technique in which frets are installed with a slight curvature to improve intonation, along with detail-oriented Japanese construction. FGN tends to be positioned as a mid-to-high-tier alternative to mainstream American brands, drawing on Fujigen's long history of contract manufacturing for well-known guitar companies.

FGN has 33 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Solid Body Electric Guitars, Electric Basses, and Extended Range Guitars. Their gear is featured by 22 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Metal, and Electronic. Notable users include Jack Thammarat, Rory Clewlow, and Liam Clewlow.
