GGD (GetGood Drums) is a virtual instrument company built around drum sample libraries, MIDI groove packs, and VSTs aimed at producers working in metal, rock, and adjacent heavy genres. The company grew out of the working relationship between Periphery drummer Matt Halpern and producer/bassist Adam "Nolly" Getgood, who spent years refining a drum recording approach on tour and in the studio before setting out to package that sound as a software product. Co-founder Derya Nagle handled the software side of the company, and Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor has been involved in its direction.
