Kohala is a ukulele and beginner-guitar brand distributed in North America by KHS America out of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The line is positioned as an accessible, affordable entry point into stringed instruments and sits alongside KHS's higher-end Lanikai ukulele brand. Kohala instruments are widely stocked through major U.S. retailers including Guitar Center, Sweetwater, Musician's Friend, and Music & Arts.

The ukulele catalog spans soprano, concert, tenor, and baritone sizes across three main series: the Akamai series, built with mahogany top, back, and sides for a traditional look and tone; the Kine'o series, aimed at first-time players; and the Tiki series, made of linden wood with engraved bridges and offered in a range of colors. Kohala also bundles many of these models into Player Packs that include a gig bag and tuner. Beyond ukuleles, the brand sells nylon- and steel-string acoustic and acoustic-electric guitars in 1/2, 3/4, and full sizes geared toward students.

Kohala has 11 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Ukuleles.
