Mantic Conceptual is a boutique effects pedal company based in Denver, Colorado, founded in 2013 by Luis Etscheid and Caleb Henning. The pair first explored unconventional sound manipulation as members of the Denver band Holophrase, and translated that experimentation into a small-batch pedal operation. Their debut release, the Density Hulk, was a take on DOD's rare subharmonic synthesizer, and it set the tone for a catalog that leans toward unusual textures rather than standard drive and modulation fare.

Mantic builds its pedals by hand in die-cast enclosures with hand-etched PCBs, true-bypass switching, and Neutrik/Switchcraft jacks. The lineup includes the Hulk subharmonic synth, the Flex and Flex Pro synth-fuzz, the Vitriol distortion, the Proverb reverb, the Pendulum analog tremolo, the Hivemind, and the THUG. The company has also produced custom and signature pieces, including the Isaiah delay built for Ikey Owens of Jack White's touring band, and a Third Man Records edition of the Flex.

The brand drew early attention from prominent players: Adrian Belew (King Crimson, Nine Inch Nails) has been seen using the Master Flex synth-fuzz live, helping put Mantic on the map among guitarists looking for less conventional tools.

Mantic has 9 products cataloged on Equipboard, including Fuzz Effects Pedals, Harmonizer & Octave Effects Pedals, and Reverb Effects Pedals. Their gear is featured by 34 artists, with the strongest followings in Rock, Pop, and Electronic. Notable users include Isaiah Ikey Owens, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, and Zach Cooper.
