Nechville is a banjo maker founded by Tom Nechville in the late 1980s, long associated with a factory in Bloomington, Minnesota before the operation expanded to the Tom Nechville Custom Shop and Banjos West dealership in Sisters, Oregon. The company is best known for its patented Heli-Mount frame, a head-tightening system that screws onto the rim like a jar cap rather than relying on the traditional hooks-and-brackets setup, producing even tension around the head and making tone-ring swaps and setup changes much faster.
