Raygun FX is a one-man operation run by Steve Weston out of Southend-on-Sea, Essex, England. Weston, whose background spans graphic design and sound engineering, handwires every pedal in small batches, keeping prices accessible despite the boutique build quality. The lineup covers fuzz, overdrive, delay, modulation, and boost circuits, with standout models including the Soda Drive+ overdrive, the Dual Soda Drive+ (which stacks two independent drive circuits in one enclosure), the Super Fuzz Boy (a fuzz pedal housed in a custom Game Boy-style enclosure), the Aurora Lo-Fi Delay, the Beast Master Deluxe, the Vintage Booster, and the Ghosty modulation pedal. Raygun FX also offers custom-built pedals with bespoke artwork, as well as repairs, modifications, and clones on request.

The brand has earned a cult following among working guitarists in the UK indie and alternative rock scenes. Raygun FX pedals have appeared on the pedalboards of Tim Wheeler of Ash, Nathan Connolly of Snow Patrol, Grant Nicholas of Feeder, Jez Williams of Doves, Tim Smith of Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Matthew Caws of Nada Surf, members of Bloc Party, and producer Jacknife Lee, among others. Weston is also a musician himself, playing in the bands High/Low and Spun.
