Yorkville Sound is a Canadian manufacturer of professional audio equipment, founded in 1963 in the back room of Long & McQuade, a music store on Yonge Street in Toronto. Peter Traynor, the store's repairman, began building rugged bass amplifiers using readily available components, developing the "Dynabass" amp that could withstand the punishment of touring. The company was incorporated as Yorkville Sound Limited in 1965 and eventually moved its manufacturing operations to Pickering, Ontario, where it designs and builds its products.

Yorkville produces a full range of professional sound reinforcement equipment, including powered and passive loudspeakers, subwoofers, power amplifiers, mixers, and stage lighting.
