Meyer is an American saxophone and clarinet mouthpiece maker with roots going back to the 1910s, and is most closely associated with hard rubber alto saxophone mouthpieces that became a cornerstone of jazz tone. The Meyer Brothers began producing mouthpieces in New York in the 1930s, and the vintage Meyer Bros. and Meyer "New York USA" pieces made from roughly 1948 through 1970 are widely considered among the finest jazz mouthpieces ever built. Ed J. Meyer sold the company to mouthpiece manufacturer JJ Babbitt in 1971, and Babbitt has produced the brand in Elkhart, Indiana ever since.

The line covers soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone as well as Bb clarinet, with hard rubber bodies molded and vulcanized using a proprietary Babbitt rubber formulation. Current production is carried out through a partnership with Theo Wanne Mouthpieces, which handles modern precision finishing. Core offerings include the standard Meyer hard rubber model, the Meyer New York reissue, a Meyer Bros. series, and a Connoisseur custom tier, available in a range of tip openings and chamber sizes.

Meyer mouthpieces are known for a warm, centered tone with enough projection and flexibility to cover bebop, post-bop, soul, and modern jazz. Cannonball Adderley famously played a Meyer alto mouthpiece for most of his career, and the design has remained a common reference point for alto players looking for a traditional jazz voice.
