Here is my "modded" Traynor DarkHorse 1 x 12" cabinet. It came stock with a celestion Greenback spkr, which is obviously very cool but not MY flavour so I switched it out for a Vintage 30 and it sits under my Guild 99-U head pumping out the rock at insane volumes that make my recording engineer and fellow guitarist friend crazy!! It has a rear opening that can pop on or off with 3 handy thumb style screws. If you want that big open sound, I like it off.

Hey!! This amp is crazy!! It's perfect for recording and practice at home. I almost always use it in the 0.1 watt mode with the gain switch engaged, unless I'm doing clean work and then in full power mode it is loud as hell and has ample headroom for again, recording and practice. The drive on this amp is awesome and is inspiring, I'm playing my es 339 through it as i type this and the tone is flat out blistering!! Hit playback and you can't tell it's not a big JPM 100 watter!! I LOVE MY LIL MARSHALL!

This is a lovely solid piece of Canadian rock & roll history. You've all heard the comparisons, Deluxe meets Plexi...I don't know about that. This amp has it's own voice. I have since replaced the original speaker with a Celestion Vintage 30, you know, something with some weight to it. Tubes are 2 x el84 4 x 12ax7. Silicone diode rectifier. Spring Reverb and Tremolo are tube driven and an absolute pleasure to hear, what a way to get inside the music! The YGM 3 takes pedals so well, you know when the player the guitar the fx and amp become one and it's just glorious, that's what this puppeh is all about.

I love this strat. It's definately one of the best looking strats i have ever seen and it's a damn great guitar. All stock except i added 2 more springs to keep that pesky bridge from moving. Crazy about the custom shop Fat 50s p-ups!

1963 Guild 99-U Ultra piggyback head and cabinet. 4 input Normal and Bright Volumes, Treble, Bass, Speed and Intensity. Someone stole the cabinet. I still use this, it's my #1 and I run it through a Traynor DHx12 cab that i swapped the greenback out for a Vintage 30. It's a loud amp with 5881s a GZ34 Rectifier and some oddballish 6eu7 x 3 preamp tubes. This amp needs a kick, old Guilds are all about sweet headroom that rounds out but doesn't morph into distortion, so i like a Rangemaster style boost between my guitar and amp.

I love this guitar, mine came stock with the classic 57 pickups, which, in my opinion can do no wrong. I find myself reaching for this guitar to record lightning fast punk and metal tracks for the certain je ne c'est quoi you get with semi bodies medium gain pickups and loud freakin amps!
