An 8-in, 8-out MIDI patchbay with extensive MIDI routing and processing capabilities.
Settings are stored in programs which can be stepped through in predefined order, or jumped to by keying in a number or by receiving a MIDI program change from an input. 128 programs are supported.
For each program, any of the following can be applied per MIDI input and/or output port:
The PMM-88 can be used to instantly reconfigure an entire MIDI rig and send program changes to all attached devices in a live performance scenario.
The PMM-88 supported 220V mains voltage only. It was later reimplemented on a new hardware platform and released as the PMM88-E, with expanded functionality and universal mains voltage support (100V-240V).
