Decent overdrive
I use this as a boost with distortion to add some dynamics to my metal rhythm tone.
Great pedal
I only use this for a tiny flavour of chorus as I'm not a huge fan of modulation but it is capable of a lot more. In hindsight I should have aimed for something simpler (not that it is a complex pedal) but I bought it from a friend so no complaints.
Does the job
No way near as responsive or great sounding as a Marshall cab but does the job pretty well
Versatile clean amp used with a pedalboard
When I found this Laney I was looking for a 50-watt single channel head that would give a decent clean sound as a platform for my pedalboard and was not disappointed. The onboard gain and drive settings are fantastic but I only use it on the clean setting.

these amps are 98% JCM800 2204 and 2203 DNA inside, basically lifted the circuit.... the low gain input is handled a little differently and they added a hybrid FX loop and extra gain stage on a switch, but ignore those elements and you have 2204 there. Worked for the pumpkins' pedal boards.
