This is not the same caliber as a Roland kit. The samples are not as high quality, and the trigger pads are not as responsive. But, it is by far the best option on a budget. I also have spent an extensive amount of time on the KT2 and it plays just as well. If you spend some time tweaking the settings it sounds pretty good. You can also run it through a virtual instrument program like Steven slate drums, addictive drums, or EZ Drummer. That way you can play or record using professional grade samples.

Prior to purchasing this pedal, I have owned several couple pedals; DW 3000, DW 5000, Tama Iron Cobra, Mapex Falcon, and a few cheap imitation pedals. Not one of them can compare to the craftsmanship and engineering put into this pedal. I have never played on a pedal that is comparable. It is the most well built, with the smoothest action, and the quickest response. As if that wasn't enough, you can use it as a douple pedal, or as two independent single pedals without purchasing any additional hardware. Definitely worth every penny.

Pork pie simply make the highest quality, most comfortable drum thrones on the market. This one is no exception. I prefer the bicycle thrones because I can play for extended periods of time without my legs or back side going numb.

I got this at a great price, and it works fine. There isn't anything in particular that I would call out. It is fairly average all around.

I wish I knew about this when I first started playing. It definitely makes it easier when hauling large equipment, or just large amounts of equipment, by yourself.

I like these because they are EQ'd flat.
