Learned it like nothing I shoulld've learned instead

Started on this DAW some years ago and it still holds a special place in my heart. Can't let go of it

Version: Image Line FL Studio 12

I use it for use with my other MIDI equipment

It works like a charme with MIDI devices since the MIDI clock from fl studio is really special.

Version: Ableton Live 10

A nice phone

Buttery smooth, long battery life and nice apps. Can easily last a full day on a single charge and if it really gets critical, it charges to 80% in 30 mins. But overpriced as fuck. 1100€ for a single device is a little too much tbh

A friend sold me his unit and danm, I love it!

BUT: My unit freezes in standalone mode. Tried everything and nothing helped. When used with a PC everything works like a charme tho

It does its job since 6 years

The USB Port of my unit is a little wonky and the control room output is pretty much done. But man, it stands like a champ. But it really would be nice if it would output multistream and not just a stereo stream. But ay, I paid 90€ for it, what did I expect?

Whenever I use this piece, I dance like a monkey on extacy

It's closer to a real 808 than you think. Worth every penny!

But: It really really could use program change midi implementation. Would be nice for production

Its alright

Its a launchpad without velocity and standalone capabilities. Works great with Ableton Live 10 and FL Studio 20. But dont try it with another DAW.

It really could use a filter adsr

This is a perfect groovebox, but please elektron, add a way to modulate the sample cutoff with a adsr. It would be 110% box then and a must buy!

What sound do you want today, honey?

If you want nice, analog sound and a big patchbay, this is a total must buy! I love this piece like I love my own cat! <3

Don't use it often enough

I use it, when I use it, for FL Studio or any other DAW and sometimes as an extra MIDI Clock. Does its job.

A pure beast

I use it to sequence the Behringer Neutron and the UNO Synth. Does its job pretty good tbh

darkv01d

It's okay

I use this synth mostly for basslines.

Cons: - if you crank up the drive, it sounds awful. - i cant use batteries anymore (i dunno why...) - when the decay is too short, it sonds clicky - my volume poti only goes to like 70% and bugs out after that. Doesnt concern me, since its always at 100% and I just turn down the gain on my mixer

snoking

lol its the contact spring on the inside of the battery tube. Lots of people reported that its a design issue that is easily fixed. Its one that will always have to be maintained. Take the screws off the back side and gentley lift the flat circuit panel its all one piece, and just with a small screw driver just bend it a milimeter or so it sticks out farther to touch the battery. Once you pull the tab a little farther out, it might need another repair in a years time. depends on how often you swap batteries. I use a usb jack from Arturia. They have a nice easy USB split power to avoid all that horrible USB hum that this synth is famous for. It completely eliminated it on my rig...
