Have you looked into Yamaha mixers? How about Yamaha MG10XU? Can't beat that price ~$200

Oh and also a way to catalog and find free plugins would be great. Maybe tag them with free or something? That way I could still be searching for Reverb Plugins but filter to just see ones that are free to download.

Break down plugins by what type they are. Here's a good list of plugin/vst categories:

Yeah I personally can't wait for this to be released. It would be super helpful to have more filters on the site and just be able to browse gear. For example there are SO many synth plugins on Equipboard (both popular and obscure) that are used not just by the pros but also other users, and I could discover and play with so much more stuff... but as of now I just have to rely on getting lucky with either search or random browsing to come across it all.

Again, can't wait for this to come out!!
