Fantastic key action

Its a great piece of gear and it has transport controls which is a nice touch. The keys have a very nice springy "synth action" (like the Virus keys), and the whole thing is very lightweight and reliable.

Unconventional!

FL Studio is kind of a different beast. It's really non-linear, being pattern based, which works like my brain does when sketching out track ideas. Changes you make to a specific pattern is reflected across the entire song, which is convenient when trying out new ideas. The mixer kind of needs an overhall though...

My baby

Here's the deal: even though the DAW I use is Windows only and there are a lot more VSTs and free stuff for Windows, you can run Widows on the Mac, plus the integrated soundcards keep the hastle of internal audio routing to a minimum; no need for a ton of complicated, conflicting drivers.

Its easy AF to use

What a beast.

Its like Additive, Subtractive (does that cancel out?), and FM all in one. It has a neat unison engine and features separate AM and FM matrices similar to FM8. The GUI is a bit small, however.
