Exceeds expectations

Just got this yesterday after trading in my Fender Supersonic 22 head. I had not been vibing with the head for a while and wasn’t sure what direction to go in, and I started looking into the Katana amps. Long story short, this thing is incredible. I don’t miss my tube head whatsoever, as this amp does so much more and still feels like a “real” amp (whatever that means nowadays). So many good features (power attenuator, headphone out, effects loop so I can still use my trusty pedals) and most importantly it sounds really good. If you’re on the fence because it’s digital, or solid state, or a modeling amp, or you don’t think it can hang at loud volumes, then I promise you it can. Very happy with this amp!

Solid

My only previous experience with a compressor was a mini Wampler Ego which I loved, but ended up selling a while back. Recently I've been wanting a compressor again, and I've always heard good things about the Keeley Comp, so I thought I'd try this out. I love that it's so simple and it does what I want and stays out of the way.

Blown away by this sleeper

My dad recently gave me a bunch of his old guitar gadgets and this was one of the things in the box. I had never heard of it before so I hooked it up to my rig and gave it a try. I couldn't believe the sound I was hearing. Immediately I was shocked at how perfect it sounded. I was on the British/Hi Gain/Classic setting and it was the most perfect lead tone I had ever managed to get out of my setup. I previously had a Friedman BE-OD Deluxe and, while there are things I liked about that pedal, I can say I prefer this a thousand times over it. My only gripe is that you can really only use one setting at a time but the setting I use is so good that it doesn't really matter. Great pedal!

Classic for a reason

Sounds great! Definitely does what it's supposed to do. Simple, orange, awesome.

Perfect for those 80s Rush tones

I debated getting the CE-2W just for those classic Alex Lifeson sounds because that seems to be the one that everyone raves about, but this thing does them amazingly well. I love that it has a level (essentially mix) knob also. Believe the hype!

Great for Alex Lifeson tones!

I bought this on a whim without trying it out or even watching videos on it (which I never do), and I was pleasantly surprised! The build quality is excellent, the knobs are great, and the only thing I would say I don't use is the envelope feature. I bought this exclusively to get late 70s/early 80s Alex Lifeson tones and it does the job really well. I debated upon getting a Boss CE-2W but they're just a little pricey in my opinion. The vibrato setting gets super weird too. Great pedal!

My favorite delay of all time

I've had quite a few different delays and this one just remains the best to me. The only thing that would top it would possibly be a TimeLine or the newer Universal Audio Starlight but I will likely stick with this one.

Best reverb sound in a pedal

When I had this, I was really only using this for the reverb side because I had heard such good things about it. I'm not really a tremolo guy so I ended up selling it. Still sounded incredible though!

Not as good as a Ditto

I liked having this because you could save your loops, but overall the sound quality was not as good as a Ditto that I had previously.

Great mic!

For under $100, this thing is solid. Audio-Technica is a great mid-budget company and I have several other products made by them and can't complain.

Pleasantly surprised

While this bass isn't perfect (could definitely do with swapping out the stock pickups for something with a bit higher output) it's not bad for the money. I will probably end up selling it to get something a little bit better eventually, but for now it works great.

Perfect size

I've been using these almost as long as I've been playing guitar. I can't even use a normal sized pick anymore. These also have a certain feel that's just right.

Works perfectly

It's affordable, and I'll never drop my guitar again. Nothing more to say.

GetGood continues to kill it

I have the One Kit Wonder: Modern Fusion kit, so this getting the Metal kit was a no brainer. Great drum sounds and sits really well in a mix.

The next level of drum programs

I recorded a three track EP with this kit, and it sounds incredible. BUY IT

Amazing bass plugin

This thing turns my Squier 70s Jazz Bass into a gritty, punchy monster. Sits great in a mix and just has a really awesome sound. Neural DSP continues to kill it!

Not too big, not too small

I love this thing! I only use about four or five pedals so it's perfect for my needs.

Great one

I've had one of these for like five years or so and have never had an issue. Just goes to show that you don't need to spend <$100 on a solid power supply.

The standard

You know what this does. Small form factor and solid build quality. If you don't have one, get one!

A real sleeper!

This pedal is like a simplified El Capistan. Some may find this statement to mean that the Wampler is a lesser pedal, which is not at all true. The delay on this thing is super neutral and sits really well underneath your guitar signal. I also really love that it has a tone knob for the repeats, and I feel like more companies should take note of that.
