My main amp and first "adult" amp. Tubes are just where its at. This amp has fantastic cleans that are only accentuated by the built in reverb. The dirty channel is pretty awesome though, anything from just starting to break up to some pretty awesome sounding overdriven amp tones. Only thing that kinda bugs me is having to adjust the EQ a lot. You can get a lot of different sounds this way but what tends to sound good dirty doesn't sound as good clean and vice versa in terms of the EQ. But still a great amp, I love it.
I actually have the G3X, which is essentially the same with the addition of an expression pedal. It works great as a looper and also has some decent drum beats for practicing. Time based and subtle effects are gold on this pedal. Distortions and Overdrives aren't quite as satisfying as the real thing, but definitely usable.
This guitar is probably the most versatile. I love the triple pickup design and the fact they are all P-90s makes it even better. Semi-Hollow, so I can get feedback when I want it and its not impossible to control. I really can't explain how much I love this guitar but I pick it up at least every single time I sit down to play guitar and is my go-to for writing (besides my acoustic).
This was my first guitar and despite some wiring issues, I love it. It's from the Indonesian factory which has made some really incredible Epiphones. I never liked the color, but I wouldn't dare trade it in because it just feels right.
This was my first proper acoustic and I got it for a steal due to a slight misprint on the pickguard. It annoyed me at first, but it is now one of my favorite things about it in addition to it just sounding amazing.
The first of two free Ibanezes given to me by a friend of mine. Didn't use them anymore, but they both needed work and he wasn't planning on fixing them! I only had to reinstall the Edge III (which was not fun, so I blocked it. I like Drop D and bending okay?) and string it.
The second of the two Ibanezes given to me. This one had a little less maintenance issues, just had to restring it. It has a killswitch that doesn't re-engauge the sound 100% of the time, so its pretty much useless. Will either take it out and put it another tone or get a better killswitch (preferably a two position instead of the current plastic button) Oh, and it has these awesome -Read: Tacky- electrical tape stripes...which I should probably get rid of.
My first amp. It was what the guy at GC was pushing and since I knew exactly 0 about amps at that point, I got it. It definitely has usable tones, but not a fantastic amp. I have gotten some pretty good stuff out of it actually, but it does suck when someone clears all your presets and you have to start over. Its at least better than a Line 6, but is that really saying much?
