Warm and Fat
I like it's everything
the position mark colors, and only rosewood options, it's features and etc...
But most of all, I like it's bridge pickup cover.
It has a sponge on it, so if you like the motown or double bass sound, don't get rid of it!
I don't know if someone said that it has muddy slap sound, and if you like the bright slap sound, go to 70's Jazz Bass!
I love my 64 Jazz Bass's warm finger tone, maybe not versatile for someone, but I still like it.
I love my Fender Bass more than Fodera because I like the sound character more than versatile sound!

So compact, and it's a moog!
I need it after I sold my Sub 37, and Subsequent 37
I wanna simple and compact size, but huge Moog sound. But wanna more modulation option than Minitaur, also need less than Subsequent 37
So I just pick this one!
I love the sound and size of this Subsequent 25
Except... some hidden functions! But I could get the moog synth with reasonable price :) I'm glad with it

@ever_josh I've been considering a Sub 25 or Subsequent 25 for same reasons you did. How often do you find yourself using the hidden functions when making bass patches?

@pkennethk Hi ! I just got & used my Subsequent 25 for only 3 days, but I hope it could be helpful to you :)
The hidden functions I often used since Sub 37 -> Subsequent 37 -> Subsequent 25 are these things.
- Initialize Preset
- Filter & Amplifier Envelopes Options ( Trigger Mode, EG Reset )
- Duo Mode
- Legato Glide
and other features like Filter Slope.
But we can edit them on Editor ( for free ! ) And when we need to change or tweak what we've made, most of features are comfortable for change with knobs!
Hidden functions bother us only the first time when we make a patch from simple saw tooth (Init Patch)

My best 4-POLE Synth
I like it's sounds so authentic to me, (though there's already Prophet 5, 10 is available) but has more modulation options then Prophet 5, so I like the P-6 more than P5
Yeah, I think P5 sound is more fatter than P-6 but there are some of reasons I like P-6 than P5
Pan Spread - I can't found the option with other synths that panning with 'voices' and I think it's a magic.
HPF - I love the High Pass Filter in this synth, like the Juno 106 or JX-3P but it can be triggered by envelopes! so I can use it in any uses
Sub OSC - I like the synths with Sub OSC. Because it has no phasing problem (like using OSC2 or OSC3) , and just makes your sound more deeper.
So I love this!
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Chorus Effect is just awesome too :)

Good writeup! I too feel like a dedicated HPF is essential on a beefy polysynth.

My best DCO Synth
First of all, it's an analog synth! There are so many modulation options with it
I like it's bi-timbral sound You can play the Pad sound with Arpeggio in same time! (or Pad with Bass and for many other options)
When you feel the sound is lack of something, here are my recommendations 1. Use LFO for make your OSC sounds more alive (Destination for OSC Finetune , and Shape Mod) 2. Use LFO for Noise (I like to use it with Random shape LFO, it makes Rev2 feel like a vintage synth) 3. Tweak the OSC SLOP knob slightly 4. Use Panspread ( That's why I love it to record in stereo )

My best 2-POLE Synth
It sounds so phat, like this VCO sound SEM filter is just adorable, make your patches more fizzy
When you feel the sound is lack of something, here are my recommendations 1. Use X-Mod ( I like the destination for PW1 / Filter Mode / Norm <-> BP / Shape 1) 2. Use Detune Knob 3. Just tweak the Filter Mode knob (a little bit closer from LP to Notch) 4. Use Panspread ( That's why I love it to record in stereo )

My best Mono Synth
I think this synth is the best of Moog (for me) The Duo function is just amazing, if you like to play 3rd note with root note in same time! and sounds soooo fat Their are many modulation options, so you can make the sounds what you want.
never gonna sell this machine :)
