Al Petteway played them, they are awesome
The same awesome rich and silky tone and longevity as usual, but with a heavy top and standard bottom. Great for decreasing bass and boom on guitars prone to that. 13-53 gauge are what they mean by HD light. I love them for fingerstyle!
$15.90 - $21.99

This is an auditorium size (like an orchestra model) sitka on hog. All solid. Made in Korea, but fretted and finished in Canada. Best neck I've ever played. 1.8" at the nut (awesome!) full D profile, matte satin finish. Ebony fretboard and bridge. Excellent sustain and definition. Bracing voiced just right so you can really dig in for some volume which pulls out a strong brilliant fundamental with splashes of overtones. The sitka is boosted by the mahogany back and sides. Not a huge body so the bass is limited, but the top is incredible and the mids are raw and sassy in that rugged and vintage way. It's very responsive. I'm really impressed with the build quality here. They go for $2100 new, and they are better than a lot of $3000 guitars tbh.
The venetian bevel is honestly useless though, it;s neat, but unneccessary. Lots of abalone if you like that kind of thing. Mine came with the fishman ellipse system which I think is better than the LR baggs anthem (this is dead silent re: noise) they both have the undersaddle and mic and preamp involved in their systems. This does have a split saddle but Fishman makes the split saddle undersaddle system (very neat)
This has awesome ebony buttons on the tuners (very premium feeling)
The guitar just feels expensive and sounds very articulate. It's honestly a real sleeper that more people need to check out imo.

S=super jumbo, 23 is akin to the current yellow series, CM= cedar on mahogany, Cut=cutaway.
Contrary to what it looks like, it is a lightweight guitar, with a very open and expansive sound. Some deep bass on tap, warm mids, and clear and light highs. The cedar top gives it a volume threshhold. The mahogany back and sides is more transparent than mahogany normally is. Not as sassy as normal. The topsheet and bracing are very light and responsive. Traditional looks (think Old European. Furch is from the Czech Republic) and modern refinements (matte satin finish on the neck, tuning machines, and the voicing of the instrument) Scale is just about 26" so a little longer than normal. Mahogany neck, ebony fretboard and bridge.
I wasn't looking for something like this, but the price was right, and I'm blown away. Personally, I think Furch should bring back the super jumbo size! It's a hard guitar to put down!

James Valentine uses Pigtronix Philosopher King
In this Instagram post James shows off three new Pigtronix guitar pedals he bought at NAMM 2016: the Envelope Phaser, Philosopher King, and the Infinity Looper. He captions the post:
Scored some AMAZING pedals from @pigtronix at #NAMM2016 ... Amazing to catch up with David Koltai : I was lucky to be one of the first to play one of his first boxes way back in 2003 (?) -- the pedal was homemade, but blew my mind! Now all these years later Pigtronix is one of the best in the pedal game AND they've brought back Supro amps which also blew my mind.
