The two founders met at Middlebury College in Vermont and set out to create pedals unlike anything else on the market, debuting with distinctive effects such as an envelope-controlled phase shifter, a parallel-distortion box, and the Mothership — an analog monophonic synthesizer pedal with accurate pitch tracking. The company is part of Bond Audio, the parent company of D'Angelico Guitars and Supro.
Pigtronix's product line spans a wide range of effect categories including compression, fuzz, delay, reverb, overdrive, looping, and synth pedals.
