terrible
i have an encore spanish acoustic, it’s not dark blue though. it gets 2 stars for sentimental value, and being my first guitar at 7 yrs old
don’t like the clean tones, but it does the job
all in the title. i wish it had nicer clean tones. i think i’ll sell it, save up a little and buy a roland jazz chorus. i don’t have much use for the code 50 as i have more pedals now, but it served its purpose well
good pedal
it’s a good pedal, especially for doomy/sludgy tones, but when i try to palm mute it doesn’t really work. i like to use it for background noise in songs, like a distant hum

i bought this because it was second hand and cheap, and i don’t really know my distortions that well. but it’s a really great pedal. kurt cobain had one, and it gets that grungey/punk rock sound really well. it’s also nice for more dreamy noise sounds too

early 2010s brooklyn indie sound
the sound of beach fossils, diiv and wild nothing. such a cool pedal. if you set the feedback high and the time really fast you almost get kind of a chorus-like effect
my favourite pedal
all the settings are great. i especially like the dynamic and shimmer sounds. really big sound and great for shoegaze and dreampop music, anything else too. i recorded an ep where i mostly just had my guitar plugged into this pedal and then directly into the multitrack without even using an amp, because it doesn’t even need all that to sound good
best guitar ever made
this guitar is so underrated. i have a blacktop mim model, it feels great to play. the atomic neck humbucker is really thick sounding and is great, and people knock the santa ana humbucker on the bridge, but i think its not bad at all and i love how jangly it sounds. i actually use the bridge more than the neck. this guitar responds well to all of my pedals as well, especially my boss rv6
It’s an alright beginner amp……
Not so keen on it. Can’t do much special, unless you think playing bass, treble, reverb and drive at the same time is valuable.

It looks great, sounds great.
I picked it up loving the hollow body tone (very Richard hawley) and noticing how beautiful it was. Mine is in cherry red.
