About this setup

That's a handsome bass. I've never seen the natural + black headstock thing before, but it's great. I've been meaning to try out a Yamaha BB 5-string. Nobody ever has a bad thing to say about any of the BB basses.
Thank you! I picked it up over at Guitar Guys in Newark, OH! I saw it, and mainly fell in love with it due to the simple controls, yet beautiful natural finish! It sustains very well, especially on the low B, for being a regular 34" scale. I've been wanting something with a PJ configuration, as well as a 5 string, so this kills 2 birds with one stone and does it perfectly!
@jwtish I like that a lot of the BBs seem to have their own sound. Sonically, they can do some of the PJ things everyone requires, but regardless of the model they always seem to have a bit of their own sound too -- like 65% Fender, 35% Yamaha. Good point re: these 5-stringers being 34", I had assumed a bit longer... good to hear the low B isn't muddled, regardless.
