The guitar plays well, the neck feels great and the action is pretty sweet. I'm looking forward to upgrading the pickups, as they're on the lower end of the spectrum in terms of quality. I might also update the tuning keys. Overall, though, I really enjoy playing this guitar.
From DigiTech's website: "Unlike devices that require you to stay tethered to your iOS device, the iStomp does all of its processing internally. This means professional-quality, high-definition signal processing with no latency and you don’t need your iOS device while you’re playing."
With the companion Stomp Shop app loaded on your iPhone, you can explorer and audition dozens of various effects. Select from compressors, overdrives, chorus, delay, and reverb just to mention a few. Once loaded into your iStomp, the iPhone no longer needs to be connected.
Found these on eBay and paid $280 for the pair (moral: good prices can be had for older, yet still awesome, equipment). For someone like myself, very much a beginner, the sound can't be beat. I hear everything I want to hear in these.
I love this guitar. I've played Fenders and Epiphones before, but something about the PRS sings to me.
For a small studio setup like mine, it's perfect for what I need currently.
