This sounded awesome in store when it was rigged up to their high end AMP. Unfortunately, my puny combo amp doesn't do it justice. Still a great pedal with lots to change to get some superb high end and deep, grizzly bass tones.

I have owned this guitar for 6 months and play every day for up to 2 hours a session. Its reliable, fun and looks pretty darn cool for a starter. It will only set you back around £600 max. The only real drawback is that the floating tremolo bar is a bit of a pain to re tune. For instance, going to E flat tuning, the guitar likes to fight against you and often goes straight out of tune. It might take three attempts of re tuning before it stays at the desired range. I can see now why spending a little bit extra on a solid body without a floating tremolo would be beneficial. I have also had the strings replaced 4 times as they don't hold out so well on the standard 9's. This might just be down to the strings, not the guitars build. Sounds great with 11s!

So, I have played with this pedal for a month or so. While it definitely adds the bluesy tone you would want, it also adds quite a lot of sustain, crunchy distortion and a crisp sound everyone will love. It gets a little wild when adding the Distortion DS-1X pedal to the mix, but that might be because my amp is pretty wack, I would be interested to try the two together as I think that you can create a really cool Blues/Rock tone. Thumbs up for the pedal.
