Great tone, Long lasting

Before using Martin Acoustic strings, I used Elixirs. While Elixir makes great strings that are long-lasting, I think that Martin Strings have the brightest, warmest tone for acoustic guitars.

It was suggested I buy some sort of elixirs. I ended up using them and they do seem to last a good while. I noticed the other day that the brightness isn't as high or metallic as some other strings, but I did them. The warm tone coming out of them now is perfect I think. Makes the guitar sound larger.

The thicker plastic webbing on elixirs (compared with some mainstream strings that now have a coated option) makes them last longer but also makes them a little less bright out of the box. They have that 'worn in for a week' sound from day 1. Its a matter of personal preference and a question of how much you mind changing acoustic strings (or if you have a slave, wrr, 'tech' to do it for you.)

Great amplifier.

The Marshall MG Series MG30CFX 30W 1x10 Guitar Combo Amp is an ideal amp for practicing and even performing in small to medium settings. Boasting a bold, carbon fiber-clad look, solid digital effects, and the MG Series' critically acclaimed, analog tonal heart.

Very solid, affordable amplifier.

Got this amp for just $50 at my local guitar shop. It has very, very nice bright and warm clean tone and can produce a nice distortion tone as well, though I normally play on a clean setting. It's 30 Watts, so it's not the most powerful amp around, but serves very well as a practice amp or a jam session amp.

Soprano Ukulele

My first instrument ever. But I am not a big fan of soprano ukes. They have an extremely twangy and buzzy sound and have a very small fret board, making playing slightly difficult. Fun to play nonetheless.

Fender Strat

I no longer own my Strat, I traded it in for an Ibanez EAG. But I enjoyed playing the Stratocaster and it's of course a classic guitar.

Jasmine Acoustic

Not a great guitar.

Danelectro Chorus Pedal

Inexpensive chorus pedal. Depending on how you set the knobs it will give you either a smooth effect or a classic chorus effect.

Woodnote Tenor Ukulele

Great sounding ukulele. Has a bright, nice tone. Nylon strings make it very playable and fun.

Epiphone S10 Amp

Decent amp. Won't blow you away, but for a beginner guitar player, it will serve it's purpose.
