Elevate your minstrel banjo playing experience with the Aquila New Nylgut AQ-7B Minstrel Banjo Strings. Crafted from innovative Nylgut material, these strings offer a defined, singing sound that closely mimics the tonal qualities of natural gut, all while providing superior durability and tuning stability compared to standard nylon strings. Designed for Briggs tuning, the AQ-7B set delivers a warm and resonant tone that suits both traditional and contemporary playing styles.

Excellent warm, raw sound for your banjo

These banjo strings don't have the classic bright, twangy sound that you think of a banjo, but they have something better - the character and class of true Appalachian folk and mountain men. Originally, like with guitar, strings were made from animal gut for the Banjo, and this is much closer to that sound. Even with fingerpicks, sounds warm and woody. Especially fitting for gourd banjos.
