Recorded with precision using a range of specialized microphones, BFD Crush offers an array of sonic textures and variations. The kick drum, captured in three distinct styles—dampened, fully open, and without the resonant head—features the renowned Audix D6, Sennheiser E602, and AKG D112 mics, along with an AEA R84 ribbon mic for a unique tonal character. Complementing the kick, the snare drums were recorded in eight variations using both dynamic and condenser mics, maximizing your tonal flexibility.

With a set of six toms, including two floor and four rack toms, you have the freedom to choose between lower or higher tunings, or even use all six for an expansive progressive setup. The toms, like the kick, were also captured with the same high-quality microphone setup to ensure a cohesive sound across the entire shell set.
