Powerful audio engine, easy to use and modify, realistic clear sonic sound is a definite Wow.

Some of the drum packages available astoundingly replicate the sound and overall ambience of some of the well adored legendary studios such as Fairfax and Oceanway. The tracks can easily be modified to suit ones' writing style, easily applied into a recording track as MIDI, or if using Sonar both MIDI and Audio. A good variety of genres to select from as well as additional adpaks to build up your library. In the end, listening is believing.

A Worthy Foe to Superior Drummer

XLN's Addictive Drums is a great songwriting tool. Like Superior Drummer, you are able to customize the kit's properties and add effects as well. However, preset kits in my opinion sound too sample based, which might not be a problem for electronic producers (Check out the Reel Machines expansion in that case).
