This is a lot more than a drum machine.
At first I was leery of the price tag, the overwhelmingly positive reviews got me to dig further and watch tutorials and dig into what exactly this thing is. It's a recording interface that is extremely user friendly, it is a midi controller, it is an extensive tool for creating music.
Created some minimalistic electronic music with this as well as extremely complex and aggressive drum beats, its flexibility and the sound library provided for use has tons of depth. Beef up your PC if you want to create powerful layered beats, I'm running 16 gigs of ram and no outside software but when I have 4 drum kits loaded and pounding away with samples and tweaked settings it will lag.
It's a budget version
It sounds nice, no complaints. The issue I did find here was that the frets do stand up a hair bit higher than I prefer
I love this guitar
It has some beautiful flourishes to let you know this was their premium guitar, the fatal flaw for this guitar is a cheap nut on the neck that splits easily. I slapped a Gibson Lead/Rhythm plate for the toggle switch and it looks perfect on this guy.
Recording? This is your guy.
XLR line out, built in tuner, has individual boosts and balance features for high, mid and low, solid amp.
You want Marshall, you get it.
It's a Marshall, it has great effects, it looks amazing, tone is phenomenal. If you want to do Type O Negative sound it takes very little adjustment. You want to go full on Death or Black Metal? You'll need a big muff pedal.
Great amp
The sounds and variety are killer. The only downfall is that I have a full stack Marshall sitting next to it, which can't be held against this competent and great sounding amp.
This sucker delivers the goods.
This synthesizer is a beast, the downfall is that the sound pallet is so rooted in Roland's past that it doesn't create its own identity.
Almost perfect
The action is tight, the sound is great, the paint job is gorgeous (need to post a picture of mine) but it is missing something that even these sweet EMG SSD pickups can't deliver
Perfect tone
You wouldn't expect this to sound how it does at this price, partnered with the right amp and pedal, you have the best tone available.
If you want mono, this delivers
Saved this from a local pawn shop, guitarists kept buying and returning it thinking it was an effect pedal.... Turns out to be a great sounding accompanying instrument with lots of versatility.
This synthesizer is a powerhouse
I recorded a synthesizer instrumental album only using this synthesizer and it did everything I needed it to do and better than Incoukd have asked for.
Gorgeous look and sound
This guitar is elegant, everything I ever wanted in a guitar without knowing it.
