Handmade Eggy awesomeness!

Currently running Bruce's T/D (Twin/Deluxe) and COD (California Overdrive - Dumble style) modules. Amazing amp and super versatile. Clear, touch responsive, very dynamic. Not many of these left be found. Owners typically hang on to them as will I...

Surprisingly good

Played quite a few of these MIM strats and never got along with them until I came across this one used. Great guitar but doesn't hold a candle to my American Deluxe. Upgraded the pups with Electric City vintage winds and the rest is stock. Stays in tune and feels good in your hands. The finish is cracked and checked for some strange reason (thinking it was left in the sun too long or something). I play this guitar hard and it does deliver in spades.

Great eastern guitar from the 80's.

Very heavy guitar, almost LP heavy. Added a Kahler and EMGs for something that differs from my other strats. Chunky maple neck with maple board. Not a shredder but a solid guitar. 2 tone burst. This is a spanky strat and my goto funk guitar.

Standard in Black

Got this one pretty cheap. Lot of road wear but no broken headstock. Yay! Smooth player with amazing upper fret access. Stock 490 pups that do the job for now (will be replaced in the near future). My only gripe is the slight neck dive. Thinking of adding a Bigsby which might help with that

This is my #2

Outstanding guitar from Fender. This girl sees a LOT of play time. Effortless to play. A myriad of tones can be coaxed from it with the S1 switching. The vibrato arm is smooth and returns to pitch all night. Locking tuners. An absolutely beautiful piece of ash for the body and very nice dark rosewood board. A swiss army knife of a guitar.

2008 Goldtop LP Deluxe GOTM

Excellent and fairly light for a Les Paul. A couple of minor finish flaws that don't really bother me and she's already starting to check (I do a lot of outdoor hot and sweaty summer gigs). The stock Gibson minis are outstanding and articulate. Good note separation even with higher gain settings. Slim taper neck feels great for fast playing with no significant fatigue.

My Number One

This is my #1 and has been since my wife (girlfriend at the time) got it for me. That was 1989. Pups have been swapped to Electric City Pickups Garden Tribute set. T-top in the neck and vintage PAF wind in the bridge. Other than that it's all stock and rock solid with a ton of miles on her but she's still a looker and still feels great.
