Guitars 2

This was my first ever guitar I got from my local Guitar Center. It's quite an affordable entry level guitar that plays and sounds great. The pickups sound full which is a great sound for the price and stays in tune quite well for an entry level guitar. However, the neck was too thick for my liking and the gloss finish catches my hand while playing. Also needs regular maintenance, as with every guitar, to prevent the fret board getting dry and sticky. Overall, it's a great "bang for the buck" guitar for anyone who's learning to get into the world of solid body electric guitars.
A fantastic upgrade to my first guitar. I've been playing a gloss finish, rosewood fret board for a couple of years and the natural finish, maple fret board really opened my eyes. Although the picture shows a rosewood fret board - I purchased it with a maple fret board. The playability is extremely fluid and the stock single coil pickups sound crisp and bright. A great affordable guitar that can be enjoyed by both beginners and seasoned players alike. It was also my first guitar to feature a tremolo bridge system. Stays in tune quite well considering the price even with heavy tremolo use. I highly recommend this guitar for beginners.

Amplifiers 1

My first ever amplifier that I purchased with my first electric guitar. Don't expect the greatest tones given the price. I don't recommend this for heavy distortion given that it is a 10 watt practise amplifier. Also starts getting pops, cracks and noises as time goes on having owning it for just over a couple of years. If tone is not a concern and you just want to practise, this inexpensive amp has served me well but don't expect to gig with it.

Strings 1

I've used these strings almost exclusively since beginning. Having tried several brands and gauges, they sound great and more importantly play fluidly for my standards. The combination of heavier and lighter gauge strings allow me to play both lead and rhythm lines comfortably. Also the sweet stickers that come with these are plain fun. They are also very affordable strings which is important just in case strings snap - however that won't be much of a problem as these are very quality strings.
