Mario Camarena

It is a custom guitar made by SethMetal.com and from what Mario has said about it through interviews is that it is a very customized guitar (different neck, electronics, etc)

You can see Mario talking about the guitar 6:16 into this video and playing it at 4:30. There is also a comment below specifying the model of the guitar.

As seen in the source/proof URL, Mario, along with his bandmate in CHON, Erick Hansel, answered a question asked in their band's AMA about the guitars they used on tour. Both of them mentioned this particular model, which can be seen in several videos of said band performing iive.

I saw Mario playing this sweet Ibanez S Series so I had to share what model it was for any curious CHON fan.

He clearly plays "poop riff" with this Taylor Electric-Acoustic guitar.

It was quite tricky working out what it was purely from the video but at 1:30 into the video, a few hints here and there lead me to believe that it is an Ibanez RG652FX that has had a custom paintjob over it, mainly because of the pickups and the black finish prior to the custom paint job (designed by his guitar teacher in San Diego, Seth Hollander.) "...other than the paint job it's like an RG - Prestige" and he also quickly touches upon his pickups "...some DiMarzio's..."

Mario can be seen playing this specific guitar throughout the whole Austin 2015 Audiotree live set. Note that it is exactly the same as previous Ibanez RG421's just with a different finish. Guess Chon used to love them 421's

A member of CHON states "we used the same amps that we use live, which is a fender supersonic and a vox ac30" in response to a question asked during their reddit AMA. You can see Mario playing through this amp in CHON's live sets such as https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kabrEkr8quo where it is visible several times throughout the video; an example is around 18:19.

When asked what amp he uses he answered: "AC30 u feel me"

Mario Camarena uses this compression pedal almost exclusively as seen at 8:23 into the "Rig Rundown" video interview. "...I can't even imagine playing without it now - we've been using it for the past couple of years..."

Rounding out Mario’s effects chain are an Arrows boost “for solos,” the Spatial Delivery envelope filter, which he sets “to sound like Thundercat,” and the Avalanche Run, for a “trippy delay.”

EH: There’s a part in one of the songs where I’m like, not playing in key, and because we have the Rainbow Machine goin’ off, going crazy, going up and down, these crazy note patterns, almost like the guitar’s talking to itself, and then I break into a solo after one measure, and we’ve never done anything like that before. So that’s pretty cool.
