I love this mustang. the short scale is very nice and comfortable to play, and i like the phase switching method of switching between the pickups. It's very light, so great for long playing situations. only reason I knocked a star off the rating is because it's not availabe left handed, so I had to flip it over. it's definitely my most played guitar
Probably the best sounding acoustic I've played and owned so far. Nice that mine is a lefty as well.
First and foremost, I want to say how awesome Harley Benton is for offering an affordable left-handed mustang copy. to my knowledge, no other company does, and I have always wanted one. into the review!
The good:
The guitar feels very sturdy. The tuners feel very nice and do their job well. I'd say they're better than tuners you get on Squiers. Though I will be swapping them for locking tuners, just personal preference. I especially like the feel of the neck. It has a smooth satin feel instead of the gloss finish like many other guitars. The neck has a thiner profile, not chunky like a strat, but not really thin like an Ibanez either; I'd say a thin C-shape. It's a plus for me as I don't care for a chunky neck. The fretboard radius feels flatter like a 12" instead of Fender's 9.5". I like it more, feels more comfortable playing scales and chord shapes for me. The vibrato system works quite well. Obviously not built for dive-bombs. Just a nice flutter and it stays in tune nicely.
The bad:
I'm not too keen on the stock pickups. They are a little weak sounding, and they only have an on-off, with no out-of-phase sound. so I swapped them for the duncan designed vm Squier Mustang picks, as I quite like them; as well as installing the 3-way slider switches. The only other thing I think they should have done was use roller saddles on the bridge. TOM bridges have sharp knife-life edges and are not the ideal saddle to use for a guitar with a vibrato system.
Final thoughts:
For its price point you get a really good quality guitar, as well as a great mod platform. I would certainly recommend this guitar to anyone wanting an affordable mustang-like guitar.

Effects Pedals 2
In my opinion, it's the best multi effects unit. I love how it's set up like stomp boxes lined up next to each other. editing the sound you want is very easy, and quick to figure it out. I love that you can plug it directly into a PA system as well. the effects sound authentic and there are more sounds than most players would ever dream of using, and you can save 100 patches of your own designs. It's compact enough to not be a burden to carry around, and it runs on a plug or batteries. the only thing that I'd like improved on is being able to scroll through the effects faster, or have them split into seperate menus. Besides that small detail, great product. I love using it and owning it.

I really like these picks for acoustic guitars. They aren't too thick for a harsh attack, and not too thin and flimsy in the hand.
My personal favorite for electric guitar. 0.88 feels the best for me.
