Love/hate relationship

Given the specs...I should like it more. I almost feel the bridge could have been set further back. The low string saddle is cranked back. And the string through angle on several strings is just so acute. It's rather dead and clunky. The Quantum pickups are pretty thick sounding. Maybe not always my favorite. But sometimes I connect with this guitar when I really want a fight. The neck is very comfortable. So it's too bad it just never feels completely dialed.

Has become my favorite guitar.

This guitar is the best I've ever purchased for the price. Most of all the action, fit and finish and playability is off the charts. I really like the MM1 pickups. Clear, present, never muddy and the the 5 way position make them super versatile. The neck on this guitar is so comfortable. Really love the 20 inch radius. The glow in the dark fret markers are great. The guitar so light and comfortable overall. I was really blown away with this one. Love the Juggernaut!!!

Average acoustic

It tends to be a little bright compared to other acoustics. Overall very much average in build quality. But good for its price.

Ernie Ball y'all!

Been using this set of Ernie Balls along with many others for 20 some years. This set has its applications. A little unbalanced...but that's what gives this set it's mojo. You go, Ernie!

Really liking this set

Works well in standard or slightly dropped. A little extra size on the lowest three strings allows me to dig in a bit more. Good for 24.75 scale axes too.

Still undefeated!

I still try different picks. Different shapes. Different materials. Expensive ones... cheap ones. Nobody can seem to topple the mighty jazz III tortex pitch black. Maybe it's the turtle?

Balls are best!!

I've tried many strings over the years...but Ernie Ball Slinky strings just sound and feel the best to me. They don't break. They are affordable. An integral part of my tone.

Interface and programming can be confusing

It does what it's supposed to do but if I haven't programmed the loops in a while I have to refer to the manual as its not super intuitive. That's my only legitimate gripe. Although it's kind of a big one. Rugged and well built. Switches feel smooth.

Like the small size. Sounds like a TS should.

The tube screamer circuit just does great things to a tube amp. The symmetrical clipping makes it a little smoother than say a Boss SD1. The knobs are pretty small given the mini size. The led light is a little dim at certain angles. As far as I can tell it sounds just like it's big brother. And that's the main thing. I'd rate it a 3.5 if I could.

Perfect boost for Marshalls

Inexpensive and very good. Especially with a cranked up Marshall. Classic boost. The asymmetrical clipping gives it a little more grind than a tube screamer.

Can make about any amp suitable for metal

The Precision Drive is an awesome boost. Flubby amp? No attack? Get a precision drive and call it a day. Really can do wonders. I keep it in my pocket just in case. 😁👉👉

Good for the price

Like the faded finish. Neck dive was substantial so I added weight in the control cavity. Doesn't neck dive now. SGs are their own beast. It's got a growling kind of low-fi nature inherently. At least to my ears. I like the G-400 for the price.

Versatile. Unique pickups.

Nice modern style Tele. Wish they could have used the original Fender style headstock like the Pete Townsend model from the 80s. It's a bright guitar. The bilateral nature of the Super Rock 2 pickups are something different. Coil tap s gets you in the ballpark of traditional Tele tone...abd still have some hot and bright humbucker too. Lots of clarity and very articulate.

Save for a tubed Marshall

My first Marshall amp. The ability to save presets and the features are great. Only one problem... it never really sounds that good. It doesn't take a boost very well. Given the price point Marshall did okay on this one. But it just will never hang against an all tube Marshall.

Good sounding Marshall

Does a lot of eras of Marshall tones between the 4 channels. Very very versatile. Handles boost pedals extremely well. A really really good amp. Everything you want from a Marshall.

Unique amp with a voice all its own

Very dry, modern and punchy. Onboard boost does not operate like tube screamer style boost. Perhaps more of a volume boost. Push/Pull knobs on the eq are a nice feature. Adjustable wattage knob from less than 1 watt to the full 60 watts is useful. Toroidal transformer is cool and something a little different. The Laney Ironheart does it's own thing for sure.

Not your typical wah

Can be set to add some gain with the wah. No clicking it on or off. Engages as soon as you put your foot on it. Really cool. But not traditional.

Awesome effects unit

Sounds amazing. Really covers all my bases for effects. Does way more than I even use it for. The Space algorithm alone is amazing.

No frills workhorse guitar.

Sounds great. Plays great. The neck feels fantastic. Frets and fretboard edges feel better than any other guitar I've owned so far. Great quality axe.

Something a little different

I really like this cab. The pine construction gives a different sound than the standard birch ply. Well built and the V30/Creamback H combo does sound very good.
