Although I have an Akai EIE Pro, the Komplete Audio 6 iOS definitely my go-to audio interface. Great sound quality and never had problems with it. Also very portable to take to a live gig.
I had some problems with drivers for Mac OSX Yosemite, and it took Akai about 9 months to roll out the proper drivers. Other then that it is a great device and is built like a tank.
The leap motion is a great extra for your studio equipment to control your music software with hand gestures. However I would not advise to use this in a live setup. Till so far GECO seems to be the best application and easiest to setup.
I bought the Nerve plugin from Xfer a few years ago, and when I saw the youtube video about the hands on control with the padKontrol I bought one second hand. To be honest I never regret this purchase and the pads are also feel very nice. The velocity sensitivity is great. Only thing I would like is that it was looking a bit better, but hey you can't have everything in live.
I ordered the TR-8 as a pre-order and had to wait a few weeks, but was lucky to get it as one of the first people in the UK. The sounds are great and even for digital sounds it is a superb remake of the original TR-808 en TR-909. Now with the 7x7 expansion it has become even better and I can't wait to see what other expansions will be added in the near future.
I have the Maschine Mikro MKII for about 2 years at the time I write this and it is a great tool for quick groove sequencing and als a great live performance tool to create beats on the fly. As a VST in Ableton you get the best of both worlds.
The Launchpad was my first controller for Ableton and I never regret getting it. With the user pages and the Automap software you can customise it to your own needs. I have extend my Launchpad with some applications and software from Isotonic Studios and nativeKontrol which make it a great device to use in Ableton
I had the original Launchpad and when, the Launchpad S came out I bought it immediately because of the faster response and brighter LED's. There are great applications and Max for Live devices to extend the functionality and make the Launchpad S very versatile.
The Livid CNTRL:R has been the heart of my studio since I bought it. It is very customisable and has been built like a tank. The support from Livid is also very great.
