I bought the guitar 2017 directly from the german music-related retailer Thomann. The first thing I realised was how heavy the guitar is. I always played Strats and acoustic so the first lp style guitar shocked me a bit. The stock pick-ups are pretty dark and low output for my taste so I changed them to an emg 85 81 set wich works awesome in the guitar. I like the guitar best with an emg 81 in the neck position and 85 in the bridge.

I bought the amp used. It's a solid state amp with a tube in the circuit. It has 150 Watts and two channels: one clean and one overdrive. I boost it with emg pickups and a cheap distorstion pedal. I can achive pretty much any sound I want. I would say it comes closest to a Peavey 5150 mk1. Only problems I see are that it get's pretty rare, that you can hardly get good sounds quitely and that it's a bit noisy.
