Brilliant for vocals
I use it primarly for vocals (XLR in and out) and I am impressed. With the send/return function you can easily add other pedals without needing a mixer etc. The knobs feel great and it‘s simple and easy to handle. I recommand it a lot. It‘s not cheap, but worth every cent. For the first time I believe I can sing ;)
Brilliant Delay!
The Earthquaker Avalanche Run is a brilliantly handcrafted pedal. Everything is smooth and works very well. Well, it takes a time to find out all variations of delay/loop effects, but after all it's easy to manage. I use it with different instruments: guitars, keyboards, synthies, etc. It works everywhere! Even my Mellotron gets an even wider ambient sound with it. If you like to great soundscapes and are into drone try it! Yes, it's pricey, but I am thinking about buying a second one, because I would like to have it in front of more than just one instrument at the same time...
Great Sequenzer, unorthodox and creative
The Ornament 8 works best with the Lyra 8 and Pulsar 23 from the same brand SOMA, but you can also connect it to other synthies. It's a great sequenzer for sound experimentists.
Synthesizer / effects unit
The Wizard is an ultra-portable synthesizer and effects unit. It is capable of running all the OWL Patches available in our library, and you can write your own patches for it. Supported languages include Cycling’74 Max Gen, Pure data, FAUST and C++. You can use it as effect for guitars too.
Great Guitar
I put out the pickups and just installed a Seymour Duncan humbucker in the bridge position. No one in the neck, just two knobs and a booster-switch.
Reliable decision to replace a thin sounding single coil
I use it in my Fender Mustang as bridge pick-up.
Does the heavy job over the years
I still play it in my ebony Gibson Les Paul Custom as the bridge pickup.
