The Earthquaker Avalanche Run is a brilliantly handcrafted pedal. Everything is smooth and works very well. Well, it takes a time to find out all variations of delay/loop effects, but after all it's easy to manage. I use it with different instruments: guitars, keyboards, synthies, etc. It works everywhere! Even my Mellotron gets an even wider ambient sound with it. If you like to great soundscapes and are into drone try it!
Yes, it's pricey, but I am thinking about buying a second one, because I would like to have it in front of more than just one instrument at the same time...

I use it primarly for vocals (XLR in and out) and I am impressed. With the send/return function you can easily add other pedals without needing a mixer etc.
The knobs feel great and it‘s simple and easy to handle. I recommand it a lot.
It‘s not cheap, but worth every cent.
