Don't let the country of origin fool you. This guitar's a keeper!

I purchased this guitar open box from gc just a few weeks ago. I absolutely love this guitar! It really is the affordable Axis. The tone sounds just like the EVH EBMM in a side by side blind comparison. This into my PV 5150 combo gives me the tone Ive always wanted, for only a few big bills. Absolutely amazing. Nothing else to say, except that you should try it yourself.

Amazing sound, but is a little noisy and heavy

The sound I get from this amp is better than any amp I've played before other than maybe a plexi. This amp sounds amazing! Ok cleans, a great crunch sound, and a lead channel straight from hell! Only drawbacks are the lead channel is noisy and hissy so a noise gate is necessary, and that that is literally one of THE heaviest amps on the market--85 pounds! Mins came modded with castors, which are a good idea if you plan on moving it around places.

Overall, much better than the new Chinafied Peavey there is now. This is made 100% in the USA! Buy it. You will not regret it, I promise!

Exact Picks Eddie Uses

These picks are perfect for fast tremolo picking, I wouldn't recommend it for anything else though, as they are very thin. Good for playing VH and other fast songs.

Pretty good cable

Can't really say much, this cable does it's job.

Better than the new Fender Evh's

This sounds, plays, and feels ten times better then the new stealths IMO. Had both this and the Ernie Ball Evh, regret selling the latter. I play this out of my friend's 100 watt marshall, and it sounds EPIC.

Not your average mini amp

ONe of the best gear purchase decisions I've ever made. Only drawback is it doesn't have as much gain as i would prefer.

Not much to say--it came with my squire and I will hopefully get an EVH or a Marshall this month.. Can't keep up with my drummer, even tho it's loud for a 10 watt.

Closer to brown sound than the 5150 iiis

This pedal sounds like a frickin tube amp. Can nail almost anything, very versatile. Able to play Van Halen (duh), Guns N Roses, Metallica, Five Finger Death Punch, Green Day, Nirvana, REM and even country. This pedal has it all, and is completely worth the price

Very good, doesn't sound nearly as good as a vintage

Go with a vintage if you can find one cheap, but if you can't, this can do almost anything the old ones can. Otherwise, it was a good purchase, and MXR pedals are amazing.

Frickin amazing

You can't not like this. It is so amazing. Sounds great, and is so versatile. The script toggle is genius!

Cheap parts, well built

The hardware and pickups are ok, I will replace them, but the quality of the build (mine is from Indonesia) is pretty good, Overall a good, cheap buy--worth the money
