Do you use the choruses or the phasers more often?

Phaser or chorus? Both can be great when used right but I just can't decide which suits ambient guitar playing better. I'd like to hear your thoughts on the matter. Thanks.

I am player through a Fender 72' Tele Deluxe and using Cordial cables. I have actually just realised that I have a few cables running directly behind the amplifier which are almost touching it. They are running to my stereo and the speakers so there are three wires. Could this be interfering with the amp?

I recently bought an AC30VR. It is a great amp for the money, but there is always a quite buzzing noise droning underneath the sound of the guitar. Anybody know any reasons why this could be?

Coincidently I have actually been looking some Marshall JCM2000 DSL's on Ebay and I must say that they look great, and I'm sure they sound great too. I know I have asked a lot and I hope I am nit burdening you, but what tones could you get from one?

I am also quite taken by the Marshall 2000 TSL60 Head, which I have found a couple of second hand ones for sale online. Thoughts?

What about the Bugera 1960 Infinium?

I am looking to buy my first all tube gigging amp and was wondering if anybody had any thoughts on what wattage is required to play small clubs with an enthusiastic drummer. If you could suggest any amps, that would be helpful. Also I would prefer a pretty tough and rugged amp head which has a good build quality that can take a beating. Thanks.

Does anybody have any information about this amp head. Look well built and reviews sound pretty damn good. But I was wondering what tones you could get from it? I usually play completely clean, or if I do add gain it is usually around half way or below on most amps. Would those tones be achievable with this head? Any help and advice would be much appreciated as I am thinking about buying this amp but am unable to five it a test run as no music stores in my area stock it.

I have played drums for about half a year now, but have had to rely on my cousin to let me practice on his kit. So I am now in the process of looking for a beginners drum kit the is sub £350. Any suggestions?

Completely agree. I think, as you kind of said, the one pickup limits people which they do not enjoy, but the people who enjoy the one pickup become very creative players due to their limitations, so they make up their own way of playing.

I totally agree with you there. I own a Gibson LPJ, which has been dropped, smashed against things and has had a cup of tea spilt all over it and it just keeps going. I don't usually go for the 50's style fat and chunky neck, but the first time I picked it up it just felt right. Great guitar. I think many people are scared off by them when they see it only has one pickup, and then they run back to a Strat or Les Paul.

Green Day were the first band that I really, really loved listening to, and have stayed that way for about 8 years. Can't get enough of them.

I don't really use too many, it's pretty basic. I mean, it's only a tuner, overdrive, phaser, chorus and delay.

Personally I fell in love with the Les Paul Junior the day I saw Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day playing one. I now own two myself. I wanted to hear your thoughts on them, and why you feel that way about them.
