Impeccable

What can I say. I love guitars and I own several. They all have their tone and personality, but for the first time I am left wondering if I need any other guitar. This is pure magic. It sings - literally. When I first tried it in the shop, it was on a quick visit to get something else, so I didn't even plug it in. The sustain was tremendous. You could hear the tone raw and while the shop was not that busy, it wasn't exactly quiet either. I played this through a Mesa Boogie Mark V 25 and mostly clean. The tone was exceptional. When I got it home I played it through my Orange Rockerverb 50, a Vox Night Train, and my Peavey Delta Blues - all driven tones and this thing was singing. Went through a few distortion and overdrive pedals into these amps and the controlled distortion was not shrill at all - again it just sang.

Great fun!

Want to do a 15 minute guitar solo and not have your band mates roll their eyes continuously and willing you to stop - here's the answer! It is actually a great practice tool and I can see it's promise in the realm of songwriting too.

Beautiful Looks, Beautiful Sound

The first high quality guitar I bought at the, sadly now closed, Jacksons Rare Guitars in Sydney. The tone of this is great - middle position my go to.

Great instrument for the money.

I love the sound of a good resonator, but just don't play it enough to warrant a massive layout of cash. This is the answer. Plays well and sounds great. To get a good sound out of the pickup, you need a good preamp though (I use a Radial Tonebone). I do find that I break strings a lot if I'm not careful when I change tunings.

All Guitarists need a multimeter

At least amateurs and anyone who can't afford a guitar tech. Worth learning how to use it and what to measure too!

Best Behringer Product Ever

This one hits the sweet spot when talking about value for money. It has been the backbone of our gigs for 5 years and takes a good beating but still stands up. It's also the main mixer I use at home so is used pretty much daily. If you're a small/amateur band, this is a great investment.

When I travel to odd places

A great way to play music abroad in places where you might not feel comfortable hauling more expensive gear like I did for travels in Africa. I've even bought one of these to leave it behind in favour of bringing home local souvenirs when I ran out of space. For less than thirty bucks you can't go wrong!

Excellent Quality acoustic instrument microphone

Although specifically designed for a violin, I don't actually play violin. I use this successfully with my banjo, ukulele, dulcimer and mandolin. Works well live and in studio. Have even jerry rigged it to use with acoustic guitar when experimenting with some ideas.

Build quality not so good

These seemed lik a great deal when I bought them and the worked fine for 2 gigs. Then one cut out and despite my electrician mate having a look, couldn't figure it out. Also, speaker stand mount broke on the 2nd gig and had to put one on a bar stool.

A necessary device for old school home recording

With a quality patch bay like this and a half decent 4 track cassette recorder, it was amazing what you could record. Not really necessary anymore.

Great device in it's time

My first multitrack recorder. This thing provided a lot of hours of fun and a great early education in basic recording.

Good Quality for the price

Behringer equipment can be a bit all over the place in quality. The C3 is one of the nice surprises.

Great Case

The quality of these harmonicas is pretty low. However, it is a great case worth the price anyway. Also, now have a couple extra harmonicas in keys I would have never bought, so let me try some new stuff.

Best noise suppressor I've used

Worth every penny! Very little impact on tone.

Subtle but effective

A nice find at a little shop in Perth. Love collecting discontinued Boss pedals!

Functional

Got this years ago from a mate who was the son of the guy who owned the music shop on the Main Street of my home town (Barrie Ontario Canada). Said it would do fine as an EQ pedal for guitar or bass. He was right, but it ceased functioning about 8 years later. Not a bad run for fifty bucks!

Go with something better

Was a bass player for a short time. So, I went cheap. Bad idea.

Classic distortion

Another one of my brother in laws creations. A nice take on the MXR pedal but with more +

Star Wars Laers!

A real light sabre does not yet exist. This is the next best thing. Only made by my brother in law.

If you're on a budget probably find a used BOSS pedal

Not great quality. Bad connections right out of the box. Went to take it back and place I bought it from was ou of business!
