The one stop box of rock

Incredible unit, easy to use with frequent updates. Haven’t even delved through 1% of what is possible with this.

A Fab 7 string T style offering from Charvel

I managed to snag one of these after searching for ages. Ash Body, 25.5 inch scale, 24 frets. It’s the perfect 7 string for the telecaster enthusiast.

The neck is super shreddy and I had no problem setting it up for a 1mm action.

I love this thing

A lightweight monster from the titans at Dingwall

This is the perfect bass for me: all passive electronics, multi scale, lightweight and good looking.

I honestly don’t have the words to describe how incredibly well built these basses are; if my house was ablaze and I could save one instrument, it would be this, every time

Decent monophonic synth sounds

This pedal is very good at making you sound wild and wacky, but I’m yet to find more than a few usable settings out of the box.

It’s quite difficult to build sounds for and really requires an in-depth knowledge of synth programming; of which I don’t have.

It would probably be best in the hands of someone with the patience to dive deep into the settings

A Swiss Army Knife bass preamp

If I had to turn up to a gig with just my bass, tuner and 1 pedal: this is the pedal I’d take.

It’s like a rig in a box, with built in compressor, cabsim, 6 band eq, and a monstrous crossover distortion. Sublime.

A great quality mid range Ibanez

Bought one second hand because I needed a 7 for writing for my band, and quickly fell in love with it.

I upgraded the bridge for a hipshot ibby and replaced the hardware for gold hardware; and to top it off, loaded it with Bareknuckle Brute forces as the dimarzio fusion edges that are stock are a bit anaemic

A quality mid-range Ibanez

I bought one of these second hand a few years after they were discontinued. After a set up and a bridge upgrade (hipshot ibby) this thing utterly rips. I string mine with 10-70 winspear strings.

I would say the pickups are a little anaemic and it might be worth upgrading in the future

Pretty good for a cheap headless

Had to replace the zero fret with a bigger one , but apart from that, excellent for the money

A lovely sounding bass amp with a valve pre.

This amp is a lovely little workhorse bass amp. Idiot proof controls (I set mine flat), a decent amount of Power, and an absolutely rock solid built in flight case. What a belter of an amp.

Excellent cabinet for the price

Great weight, great sound great price. I love mine, especially in conjunction with the K210 cabinet. Makes for a very portable, but loud and impressive looking stack

Amazing

Bought this about 4/5 months ago and I love it, it truly is the bass sound in my head:full, punchy, controlled overdrive. Worth every penny

Much better than Cheap and Cheerful

The Affinity series by squier are fantastic instruments, both as starter instruments and for pro level musicians alike.

For starters, there's bounds and bounds of tone coming out of this bass, it's versatile, playing everything from funk, to metal.

It looks great and the finish is very good Oh and for £230 you can't really go wrong :)

Custom Bass pickups

The GHOST Green Greenies are the first precision bass pickup that GHOST Pickups UK have built, they were custom built for my Green precision bass that I play live: first off let's talk aesthetics These pickups have a gold madrano wood top on them that is stained green, to match the odd colour of my bass, and they are gorgeous, they look like dragons skin and they dance under the light in a wonderful way. They even upon further inspection smell good. Now let's talk tone: Big Alnico V 9mm pole pieces provide big punchy tone, but with a vintagey growl just underneath the surface. It's loud, it's punchy, and it's clear with no mud what so ever, however it's still stunningly musical and melodic, and cuts through a mix like a hot knife through butter. They sound great slap and pop bass, they sound great finger style, they sound great with a pick, all in all they sound and look the dogs proverbials. basically, the man behind GHOST is an absolute Wizard.

FRANKENBASS

My parts bass is different to the one in the picture: its a green precision bass with a musicman pickup in the bridge position and a pair of my custom GHOST Pickups UK Green Greenies precision bass pickups in the middle position. it also has a flamed maple neck, Schaller tuners and a babicz FCH bridge

best wireless about

The line 6 g50 system is one of the best wirelesses about, simple to use, no tone loss, excellent all around.

Fantastic Combo

The TC electronic BG250-112 is in my opinion, the best combo you can get for the money: its a 250w RMS combo with a 12" driver, that pumps out punchy, clear tone. its intelligent eq system works like a dream and the tone print feature is lovely.

its a £300 amplifier that sounds like a £500 amplifier. and its half the weight too.

Great Tuner

The Snark Floor tuner is the heart of my board, after all, how can you sound good if you aren't in tune: its fast, reliable and very very accurate, more so than even the pitchblacks. ive had it all the way down to F# on a 5 string bass, picked it up with ease.

Great overdrive and distortion

The MXR blowtorch replace the EHX Big Muff Pi bass on my pedal board and what a hellish difference to my tone: the clean pre amp really keeps the low end, the mid shift is a nice touch and the blendable distortion with the clean is my favourite feature. all in all a must for any bassists board
