Build quality

  • The guitar features two graphite rods in the neck, enhancing stability, especially beneficial for the higher tension of a 7-string.

    Source
  • The guitar arrived with rough patches in the wood, particularly in the cutaway, resembling unfinished DIY kit guitars.

    Source

Features and functionality

  • This model includes locking tuners with an 18:1 ratio, the same quality used on Charvel USA guitars.

    Source

Use cases and applications

  • The Sentient+Nazgul pickup set excels in metal, offering tightness and chunk, but the Nazgul can sound too nasal without gain.

User experience

  • The satin finish allows for comfortable play even in warm conditions, preventing cold shock when picked up shirtless.

    Source
  • One owner found dirt embedded in the fingerboard immediately after unboxing, raising concerns about prior handling or storage conditions.

    Source

Value and pricing

  • Some users feel that for $870, the unfinished wood and cosmetic imperfections do not justify the price, likening it to a kit guitar.

A Fab 7 string T style offering from Charvel

I managed to snag one of these after searching for ages. Ash Body, 25.5 inch scale, 24 frets. It’s the perfect 7 string for the telecaster enthusiast.

The neck is super shreddy and I had no problem setting it up for a 1mm action.

I love this thing
