Classic compressor

Classic compression for cheap, no true bypass, simple controls. If you expect something more exciting - go for more expensive pedals.

Instant John Mayer envelope filter tone

If you like guitar tones from "I don't trust myself on loving you" or "Rosie" - that's definitely a way to go. Works very well with twangy funky picking

Fun to play

Great guitar for the money. Love the burstbuckers and bending is so comfortable with the rounded neck. Keep in mind that the finish in this colour variant is closer to 50s tribute than to other faded models.

Cool, simple head with minor flaws

The head sounds very good , especially for the price paid (170$). If you need two channels and fx loop, you should look for the second edition, JCA22H.

Sweet, loud stack.

The amp sounds good, especially for the price I've paid. It has nice cleans, but you won't be able to crank it in your apartment - it's just too loud. I am driving it with Boss SD-1 and I love it. It is also easy to mod, which is nice since the amp lacks the reverb and fx loop.

5 clean watts RMS is a lot of volume.... people don't get it. When you get her fully saturated she's probably pumping well over 10 watts peak. If your speker(s) efficient? Expect serious dB. Its a tube amp. They are not for apartments.

Honest, vintage tone

A great little amp. Nice to have three amplification stages (4W , 1W and 1/4W). However, I miss the FX loop and a spring reverb.

Keep playing her turned all the way up, you will miss the extra circuitry less and less.
