Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded T 2016 Review - HubPages

hubpages.com

The 2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Series T in Satin Fire Burst is a pleasant surprise, offering robust Les Paul tones at an accessible price point. Its mahogany body, set neck, and carved maple top provide the classic Gibson resonance and sustain, while the Burstbucker Pro pickups deliver a dynamic range of tones from rich cleans to gritty overdrive. The thin nitrocellulose satin finish is visually appealing and comfortable to play. However, the included gig bag feels inadequate, and the rosewood fretboard quality could be better. Despite these minor drawbacks, the guitar's overall craftsmanship and sound make it a standout choice for those seeking genuine Gibson quality without the hefty price tag.

Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded 2016 T - Mixdown Magazine

mixdownmag.com.au

The 2016 Gibson Les Paul Studio Faded Series T in Satin Fire Burst is a budget-friendly powerhouse that delivers classic Les Paul tones without breaking the bank. Its faded finish and single-piece mahogany body let the wood breathe, enhancing sound dynamics, especially for hard rock and blues. The BB Pro humbuckers ensure vintage output that impressively stands out among its peers. While it's not as flashy as its higher-end siblings, this guitar's no-nonsense aesthetic and performance-oriented build make it a standout choice for those seeking authentic Les Paul vibes on a tighter budget.

Fun to play

Great guitar for the money. Love the burstbuckers and bending is so comfortable with the rounded neck. Keep in mind that the finish in this colour variant is closer to 50s tribute than to other faded models.
