I bought this bass just because I was looking for a Jazz bass with a sunburst finish and maple neck. I loved the look of the Geddy bass because of the black pickguard and Fender hi-mass bridge made it look even beefier. Ended up putting a set of Seymour Duncan quarter pounder P/J pickups in it to make it even better for my pop punk band but also worked so well for playing jazz/funk.
