Awesome sounds, well designed, easy to navigate through, and provides really inspiring vibes. It provides solid basis to create a track around its elements. And it's well made so you can easily make your tracks evolve. Unfortunatly it's a bit expensive.
ACE + DIVA = One of the best combo. It seems that U-he never fails, and if you make your way through the retro and physical way to navigate in ACE, you can get really awesome sounds.
Probably the best for deep and tech house. Retro feeling, warm sound, and wonderful presets bank that let you know how to recreate any type of analogue sound. Love it.
It basicly allows to do anything you want, has an awesome community, and comes with awesome macro control features. Presets are a bit cheap.
Semi-weighted, aftertouch, velocity, 16 drum pads, pitch bend and modulation wheel, 8 knobs and a little screen, and all of this for 200€. This is probably the best midi piano you can get at this price. The only bad point is that it's not really solid, as my pitch bend broke after only a month.
Since I began playing live and DJ Sets, the Novation Launchpad has been one of the best companion. I don't really feel comfortable using is for production, but when it comes to live, it just allows me to do wonderful things when used with Ableton Live.
When I don't want to carry the huge Zero SL. Awesome feeling with these knobs. Unfortunatly, once I have assigned volumes and EQ's, I only have 4 FX remaining, and I can only control 2 tracks with these. One more line would have been awesome, but hey ! It's only 70€.
It's a bit too heavy do be brought to every live or DJ Sets I'm playing, but it has been an awesome companion for the Launchpad. The display screen is very useful, and every feature can be tide to control whatever you want in ableton. It's a wonderful friend for production has well, if you want to use the mouse of your computer as less as possible. Very resistant, it survived some DJ Sets at 46°C in Australia.
