unlke the the launch pad of the same generation, this is useful
read my review of the launchpad mk1 for my opinions on that, but as for this, much more useful. being able to control the pan and level of your 8 main tracks, and have an ease start stop button is much more useful then the launch pad in a studio setting

Can be brought anywhere
When I don't want to carry the huge Zero SL. Awesome feeling with these knobs. Unfortunatly, once I have assigned volumes and EQ's, I only have 4 FX remaining, and I can only control 2 tracks with these. One more line would have been awesome, but hey ! It's only 70€.

versatile effects controller with seamless integration for live sets and studio use
Another brilliant controller by Novation in their popular Launch range. I use this as basically my personal & extended effects unit so i can control alot of effects smoothly and quickly without the hassle of just using my Xone K2 as my mixer and effects controller. I can use the navigation buttons on the Control to move through my channels with the effects already there so i can quickly switch through them and use them whenever i want. The user mode also helps me so i can have my own unique effects and presets for my sets mapped to any parameter on the controller. This can be used as my backup mixer/controller if my Xone K2 ever happens to fail on me too which is very nice. I've also used this controller with FL studio and can come in handy when playing around and utilisting eq's, effects etc. in some cases when i try to get ideas for a song or remix.

Great controller
The Ableton integration could be a bit better in terms of factory templates, but that aside it is a solid product with great build quality.

Great controller
16 assignable pots make automating easy and fun. Two banks both user and factory, allow 16 open pots and control over 8 mixer tracks
